'The Monopol' is inspired by the true story of the family of Nati Brooks, the screenwriter of the film, In the bigining of 2023 I directed The Monopol. When I first embarked on this, I could not have anticipated the profound relevance it would hold today. As Israel grapples with its own evolving challenges, The Monopol has emerged not just as a film, but as a critical reflection of our times, mirroring today's tragic events through the lens of historical events. This project has grown from a simple cinematic endeavor into a deeply personal and urgent commentary, making its message not only timely but essential 'The Monopol' is seen in international festivals and has so far provoked significant discourse that emphasizes the importance of commemorating and learning history. Our goal is to continue telling the story and topromote Holocaust memory education through the distribution of the film.
